Vegan Cheese Fondue

There’s no reason why vegans should miss out on the delights of dunking chunks of bread into a pot of gooey melting cheese! Here’s a tasty recipe for a completely vegan cheese fondue that is so tasty you won’t even miss the dairy.

  • 50 50 g Violife EPIC Mature Cheddar Flavour Grated
  • 1.25 1.25 Tbsp olive oil
  • 1 1 Tbsp all purpose flour
  • 100 100 ml coconut milk
  • 0.25 0.25 tsp yellow mustard
  • black pepper (to taste)
  • To serve:
  • carrot sticks
  • breadsticks
  • celery sticks

Method

  1. Heat the olive oil in a pot, add the sifted flour and oil whilst whisking.
  2. Add the coconut milk, stirring until the sauce thickens. Then add the Violife EPIC Mature Cheddar Flavour Grated.
  3. Stir in the mustard and add sea salt and black pepper to taste.
  4. Serve the fondue in a fondue pot to keep warm and enjoy with breadsticks and vegetable sticks.
