London’s iconic Camden Market is home to an eclectic and unique mix of food tenants, serving street food iterations of cuisines from across the globe and hosts something for every specific dietary requirement and palate – from vegan to gluten-free, vegetarian to dessert only concepts.

Having presented a series of vegan firsts, since 2017 it has launched London’s first 100% vegan pie and mash shop, hosted the UK’s first festive vegan deli in Dec ’17 and saw the opening of UK’s first 100% vegan diner in Spring 2018. Camden Market is fast becoming the capital’s hot spot for vegan dining and shopping, with half of the menus serving vegan options and over 10, solely vegan traders.

Nora and Nama – Vegan Artisan Bakery

New vegan arrival to the market is Vegan Bakery & Deli Nora and Nama who are serving up all the baked good favourites that just happen to be 100% vegan, with options also including gluten-free and refined sugar-free choices. From vegan baklava to baba cake, cinnamon swirls to  Vegan. With gluten-free and no refined sugar options!

Young Vegans

London’s first vegan pie and mash shop serving up vegan comfort food at its best. Best sellers include the Seitan and Ale Pie and the Peanut Butter & Chocolate Mud Pies, also gluten-free.

Rudy’s Dirty Vegan Diner

All the staple US Diner classics available under one roof, from The Dirty Burger to The Dirty Dog (both served in vegan brioche), Mac’n’Cheeze to Rudy’s Reuben (a vegan pastrami grilled rye sandwich with all the trimmings – sauerkraut, cream cheeze, grilled onions and Russian dressing.) There’s also a weekly changing menu of American comfort food specials, with the likes of Vegan Meatloaf, Philly Cheese Steak, Spicy Vegan Buffalo Wings with Blue Cheeze and Country Fried Chicken, Biscuits, Mash and Gravy making an appearance.

V Burger

Vegan fast food burger bar serving up delicious, accessible plant-based burgers. The menu includes the ‘Up-beet’ (£7.00) a slow roasted british beetroot and quinoa patty, served with smoked tomato relish, tomato, dill gherkins, sliced red onion and topped with a garlic and chive aioli, the Feisty Falafel (£7.00) smashed chickpea and roasted sweet potato burger seasoned with organic turmeric and cumin, lettuce, tomato and red onion, and drizzled with spiced harissa mayonnaise and tahini and the Seitan schnitzel* (£7.00) deep fried and breaded seitan served with cheeky chipotle mayonnaise, lettuce, tomato, dill gherkins and red onion.

As with every good burger place, there’s the option to load up on additional toppings – which include vegan sliced cheddar cheese, smashed avo and vegan bacon strips and of course – sides, which include skin on chips, sweet potato fries, onion rings and coleslaw.

Magic Falafel

Made from 100% chickpeas, their falafel are entirely vegan and gluten-free, served up in pitta or salad.

Pamban

The Camden Market chai specialists, serve up traditionally brewed chai and delicious eats from India and Sri Lanka and are one of the few places in London where can find Lamprais – traditional Sri Lankan curry – wrapped and baked in banana leaf. Their Brinjal Moju Lamprais, a sweet and spicy aubergine curry is a vegan favourite. You’ll also find vegan chais and lattes.

Makatcha

Serving up vegan options including their vegan rendang made with mushroom and chickpeas, served on fluffy beds of rice with veg, Malaysian peanut sauce and Singaporean achar for a South East Asian flavour sensation.

Serving bowls of fresh California inspired poké, their popular vegan poke bowl fts Ginger, Jack ‘n’ Tempeh, pineapple, sweet pickled beets, shaved radish, edamame & sesame carrot to top as you wish with the likes of crushed wasabi peas and crispy onions.

Maize Blaze

The gluten-free modern Columbian street food serve their vegan version of their Marching Box – the Lean Mean Vegan Machine ft. sautéed mini potatoes, garlic rice, slow-cooked red beans, guacamole, sweet fried plantains, balsamic red cabbage on a bed of mixed leaves with toasted pumpkin seeds, spring onion, fresh chillies, red onion salad and fresh coriander.
