Ireland’s first vegan grocery store is now open for business in Dublin.
Dublin has welcomed a new all-vegan grocery store, Veganic, to its streets, making it easier for local vegans to purchase all their groceries in one place.
The all-vegan store offers a range of different products such as locally-grown fresh fruits and vegetables, all of which are 100% organic, cosmetics, baby-care products, meat and dairy alternatives such as ground ‘beef’, sausage, bacon and storecupboard essentials including pet food. The shop is also proud of its eco-credentials, and so every product sold is 100% organic and pesticide-free.
Keen to provide options for those looking to cut down on their plastic consumption, the store also provides a number of ingredients such as lentils, pasta and dried fruit in zero waste dispensers so customers can bring their own container or use a paper bag provided by the store.
Veganic is keen to entice a wide variety of customers to the store in a bid to “help people eat in a more sustainable and healthy manner.” According to their website, the team behind the new vegan venture come from all walks of life, describing themselves as “organic enthusiast’s, vegans, flexitarians, zero waste practitioners and omnivores working to reduce their meat consumption.”
