In recent years we’ve seen more dairy-free offerings hitting freezers than ever before, and we’re now spoilt for choice when choosing the perfect frozen treat to help us keep our cool in summer. Here’s some of the creamiest, dreamiest vegan ice-creams available in UK stores we’ll be munching on in summer 2018. 

Northern Bloc

When it comes to vegan ice-creams, Booja Booja are hard to beat in terms of texture and flavour, so it’s no surprise that the’ve scooped (see what we did there?!) up a number of awards for their frozen treats.

Their incredibly creamy range of cashew-based ice-creams come in a wide range if flavours, including Raspberry Ripple, Caramel Pecan Praline, Chocolate Salted Caramel, Hazelnut Chocolate Truffle, Vanilla and Hunky Punky Chocolate.

Alpro have branched out into the world of vegan ice-creams with their range of dairy-free, plant-based ice-creams in Coconut, Vanilla and Hazelnut Chocolate flavours. This summer they’ve also added a tempting salted almond caramel tub to their range.

Alpro’s decadent range is made with premium ingredients like bourbon vanilla extract, and contain 30% less sugar and 30% less saturated fats than similar dairy products, yet they still have a deliciously creamy texture without feeling too heavy.  And there’s even more good news as the pots contain no more than 120 calories per 100g. That’s just 600 calories per tub, so dig in!
