Vegan puddings just levelled up, as dessert brand Over The Spoon has launched the world’s first commercial vegan and gluten-free trifle pots.

The latest vegan puds to hit UK supermarket shelves come in a range of flavours and provide a sweet kick.

Over The Spoon has recreated nostalgic flavours we all love, like Creamy Strawberry Trifle, Belgian Chocolate Mousse, Zingy Lemon Cheesecake and Melty Chocolate Fudge Pud.

Moreover, the newly launched brand is on a mission to provide sublime tasting, sustainable desserts that are tastier than the dairy alternatives.

These delicious desserts are now available in Tesco and will be available at other UK supermarkets later in the summer.

Making the nation’s favourites vegan

With more people trying to reduce their dairy intake, Over The Spoon has come to give a helping hand to those with a sweet tooth.

Not only do these puds taste great, their ingredients are high quality and sustainably sourced.

In addition, OTS hopes its products will give consumers the chance to try something new and kick dairy to the curb.

In line with celebrating classic British desserts, OTS’s vegan trifle is made using a fruity compote packed with British strawberries.

“The world is waking up to the sustainable eating”

In a statement made to Vegan Food & Living, OTS’s UK Managing Director Tim Wild shared: “Launching the world’s first dairy and gluten free, vegan trifle is another feather in the cap of our brilliant Dessertologists.

“The world is waking up to the sustainable eating conversation but most people find milk alternatives a jump too far. Our desserts are a much simpler and more enjoyable swap.”

It is so encouraging to see companies invest in vegan products. With more delicious dairy alternatives available, people can make the switch to a plant-based diet with ease.
