Wicked Kitchen launch new vegan ice cream cones and sticks at Tesco

Tesco has expanded its Wicked Kitchen range to include a tempting trio of new chocolate-covered ice cream cones and sticks.

Warmer weather is on its way and Tesco is making sure vegans have plenty of treats to keep them cool this summer as it adds three tempting new ice creams to its Wicked Kitchen range.

Rolling out across the UK to Tesco stores this week, the new dairy-free trio is comprised of Chocolate & Almond Sticks, Chocolate & Red Berry Cones and Berry White Sticks.

The Wicked Kitchen team are known for leading the way with their innovative new products, so its no surprise to hear that their latest launch features another first-to-market product – Berry White Sticks.

The first vegan ice creams to feature a white chocolate coating, the ice creams feature sweet vanilla ice cream swirled with berry sauce is coated in a layer of plant-based white chocolate studded with berry pieces.

There’s good news for those looking for dairy-free and gluten-free desserts too as the new Cornetto-style Chocolate & Red Berry Cones are made with a gluten-free maize cone filled with ice cream, red berry sauce and chocolate chips.

The third new ice cream joining the Wicked Kitchen range is the classic Chocolate & Almond Sticks with vanilla ice cream coated in chocolate and roasted almond pieces.

Derek Sarno, Tesco’s Chief of Plant-Based Innovation, revealed details of the new chocolate-covered ice cream sticks and cones on Instagram saying: “FINALLY!! Excited to launch these bad boys across Tesco nation, rolling out next week. First to market white chocolate berry swirl sticks!!

“Can confirm they are amazing and at £2.50 you can find them next to the other Wicked ice creams.”

Excited ice cream fans took to the comments to praise the new launches, with one saying: “Now we’re even more excited for sunny weather!”

“I’m excited for the ice cream range! I just know that it’ll taste way better than magnums,” another added.

Echoing all of our sentiments, one Instagram user wrote: “You just created the ice cream of my dreams!”

Wicked Kitchen Ice Cream

The Wicked Kitchen range has been expanding in recent months to include more sweet treats, including a brand new range of vegan cream tubs.

Made up of three flavours, Mint Chocolate Chip, Chocolate and Vanilla, the new ice creams launched in Tesco at an affordable price of £2.00 per tub in November.
