Plant-based desserts brand Freaks of Nature has announced the launch of an exciting new product that will delight chocoholics – the UK’s first all-vegan chocolate mousse available to purchase in supermarkets made with real Belgian chocolate.
The indulgent Belgian chocolate mousse will initially launch in 350 Co-op stores from January 8th with a twin pack costing £1.80.
The mousse is made purely from plants and has a light, whipped texture. The good news is the chocolatey dessert comes in at just 150 calories per pot.
Freaks of Nature are proud to make inclusive puddings that over 95% of people can enjoy, with all of their products being specially produced to meet the needs of people with dairy, gluten and egg allergies.
Although Sainsbury’s offers a dairy-free chocolate mousse in its free-from range, this is the first to be made with real Belgian chocolate.
Exceptionally tasty
Commenting on the new product launch, Freaks of Nature Founder Peter Ahye told Vegan Food & Living: “We’re all about making exceptionally tasty, healthy, guilt-free dessert options that everyone will love.
“Whether that’s someone looking for a vegan and allergen-free alternative, a lower-calorie chocolate fix or just a really gorgeous sweet treat for all the family. We think they’re going to be a big hit with kids especially.”
