Susan Ma’s passion for cruelty free, vegan, 100% naturally derived products which also help to protect the environment led her to create a range of hand-made natural skincare products, Tropic Skincare, that have been certified by The Vegan Society and Cruelty Free International.

Tropic Skincare’s products are hand-made in their Surrey Beauty Kitchen using pure plant extracts. This means that when you purchase their products they are never more than three weeks old – which is why they cannot be sold in supermarkets or shops – they are literally made to order.

It can often be difficult to know what’s in your skincare products, but customers can be sure that they are purchasing the highest quality products – with no added ‘nasties’ – with Tropic Skincare, as they are very honest and open about the pure ingredients they use. You can rest assured that all of their products are free from parabens, SLS/ALS, unsustainable palm oils, formaldehydes, alcohol, MI, petrochemicals, mineral oils, gluten, lanolin, triclosan, beeswax/honey, harsh preservatives, toxic chemicals and microbeads. They also make sure all the ingredients are listed in plain, simple English on the side so you know exactly what’s inside!

But that’s not the only good news, as all of Tropic Skincare’s packaging is recyclable, and they even offer an ‘eco’ option if any of their environmentally conscious customers want their products to be sent without all the boxes and unnecessary gift packaging.

Tropic Skincare are not just concerned with saving the environment with their vegan products, they also make a point of donating to three charities every year through the Tropic community, and since starting up in 2013 have collected charity donations to the total of £44,740. This year the chosen charities were Breast Cancer Care, Marine Conservation Society and MIND for better mental health.
