Staying in is the new going out, but that doesn’t mean you have to miss out on some of your favourite restaurant dishes as Zizzi’s is launching its ground-breaking vegan pepperoni pizza at Sainsbury’s.
In 2019, the high-street restaurant chain teamed up with plant-based protein company Jack & Bry to develop the UK’s first-ever jackfruit pepperoni pizza and you’ll soon be able to enjoy it it the comfort of your own home as Zizzi’s is launching the pizza as part of its new retail range in 307 Sainsbury’s across the UK from 13 September.
The Vegan Jackfruit Pepperoni (£4.50) is made with “premium restaurant-quality ingredients” such as Italian grain leavened dough and is topped with the same Jack & Bry jackfruit pepperoni and vegan MozzaRisella as found in Zizzi restaurants.
The popular pizza, which was the first vegan dish to be permanently added to the main menu at Zizzi, even comes complete with a mini bottle of chilli or basil oil to drizzle on top for the full restaurant experience.
