With a change of season comes the Zizzi Autumn Winter menu launching on October 10th nationwide. The new menu sees Zizzi add to their already impressive Vegan offering, as the Italian restaurant are committed to providing the most choice on the high street and delicious options for a range of dietary requirements.
Since being the first high street chain to offer a Vegan cheese alternative, Zizzi has added more Vegan options thanks to high demand and sold a staggering 400,000 Vegan dishes already in 2017!
This Autumn, two additional Vegan pizzas are launching: the Vegan Zucca pizza made with mozzarella cheese alternative, roasted butternut squash, caramelised balsamic onions and spinach and the Vegan Pepperonata pizza with fire-roasted peppers, sunblush tomatoes, hot roquito chillies and pea shoots. If pizza’s not your cup of tea, there’s a tasty Italian lentil ragu with linguine on offer too.
For starters, diners can choose from a vegan bruschetta, which is made with speciality tomatoes, red onion & roasted garlic marinated in extra virgin olive oil on toasted bread with super green pesto & fresh basil. There’s also a Toscana soup, which is a hearty blend of tomatoes, leeks, grilled peppers, curly kale & quinoa.
The new menu sees Zizzi further expand its healthy eating offering with the addition of whole wheat pasta which can be substituted with all pasta dishes, excluding filled and oven baked pasta.
For those with a sweet tooth Zizzi has two new delectable desserts, the sticky chocolate and praline torte, which is a dairy-free chocolate torte with a date, hazelnut & walnut base. Served with coconut & chocolate ripple gelato. There’s also a range of refreshing sorbets, with flavours including coconut & chocolate ripple, lemon and strawberry.
