Passionate about vegan food, Mikey Pearce recently joined forces with his childhood friend Abe Garman to open a new vegan delivery kitchen concept, Clean Kitchen Club, in Brighton.

Mikey’s passion for plant-based food started when he cut down on his meat and alcohol intake, which resulted in him losing over 20kg in just a few months.

He enlisted the help of Garman to join forces to create a ‘healthy, guilt-free burger that would not only taste delicious, but also be good for the environment and not bad for you’.

Following the ‘incredible success’ of the Clean Kitchen Club Brighton branch, Pearce is opening a new kitchen in the heart of Chelsea on August 18.

Menu

Clean Kitchen Club specialises in serving 100% plant-based burgers with an exclusive menu designed by their team of chefs, including Head Chef Andrew Peters and MasterChef finalist and ITV regular chef, Stacie Stewart.

The mouth-watering menu will feature a range of belly-busting dishes to please every palate such as the Buffalo Burger with THIS isn’t chicken, buffalo sauce, vegan cheese, fresh dill, vegan mayo, lettuce and tomato.

The Chelsea kitchen will be serving their signature plant-based dishes, with a number of exciting new additions to the menu across Chelsea, Hammersmith, Kensington, Putney, Fulham, Brompton, Brook Green, Knightsbridge, Sands End, Shepherds Bush and South Kensington and will be available exclusively on Deliveroo.

Expansion plans

Since opening in June, Clean Kitchen Club has proved to be a huge success in Brighton and the business is on track to turnover in excess of £1million in its first year alone.

Pearce has big plans for the brand and hopes to open further sites in Wandsworth, Tunbridge Wells, Manchester, Edinburgh and Bournemouth in the coming weeks.

‘UK’s fastest-growing plant-based brand’

In a statement sent to Vegan Food & Living, Pearce said: “The focus from the get-go has been to bring people delicious, guilt-free food. We’ve made sure we’ve sourced the freshest ingredients we can to create some truly special dishes and we’re happy to report everyone seems to be loving them, no matter whether they follow a plant-based diet or not.

“We’ve felt so blessed that the local Brighton community has really got behind us and we’re aiming to become the UK’s fastest-growing plant-based brand, opening sites in every major city. Chelsea will be our first London site but by no means our last. We’re already planning to open an east London site in the coming weeks.

“It’s very exciting to see the business growing so fast and we can’t wait to show Chelsea and the surrounding areas what we’re all about. You’ll be able to find us on Deliveroo and I’m sure you’ll all enjoy our plant-based creations.”
