Wicked Kitchen expands its range in Tesco with the addition of new plant-based meat alternatives.
In the last two years alone, 68 per cent of adults in the UK have chosen to cut down or cut out meat from their diet (The Source, 2018) and an impressive 16 per cent of all food product launches in 2018 were plant-based (Mintel, 2018).
Tesco supermarket has just announced that it is launching 45 new plant-based products in stores today, including a new selection of meat alternatives.
Joining the Wicked Kitchen range in stores from today are Wicked Spiced Amazeballs, Jalapeño Griller Patties and Chorizo Style Bangers.
The Spiced Amazeballs are made with pea protein and loaded with a blend of punchy herbs and Italian style seasoning making them the perfect addition to a meatball sub or a pasta dish.
The Jalapeño Griller Patties are perfect for those who like their burgers with a kick as they’re packed with jalapeños and vegan cheese ‘pockets’ to add even more flavour.
Packed with smoked paprika, the Chorizo Style Bangers are the perfect addition to a hot dog or chopped up in a vegan paella.
For those who lust after Sarno’s pulled mushroom dishes on social media, there’s also Wicked Shredded M’Shroom launching in stores today. The pulled and roasted mushrooms with a paprika and cumin BBQ rub are delicious added to wraps, sandwiches and salads.
