American fashion and lifestyle magazine, Vogue, has dubbed “vegan food” the en vogue menu choice for weddings in 2017.

Vogue lists vegan food amongst 2017's top wedding trends

A recent feature published by fashion media outlet Vogue highlighted the year’s top wedding trends. Among six trends—including smaller weddings, herb-infused cocktails, and tall, layered cakes—Vogue identified that vegan menus are growing in popularity among wedding planners and happy couples.

“Without a doubt, we are seeing more brides and grooms feature vegan options versus vegetarian. The vegan movement is well on the way, and most top restaurants today now offer a vegan menu,” celebrity wedding planner, Colin Cowie, told Vogue.

Cowie further revealed that vegan dishes on wedding menus are no longer just relegated to sides. “’Vegan’ used to mean the grilled portobello mushroom,” Cowie said. “Today’s chefs are preparing exquisite and delicious vegan options.”
