Popular European vegan cheese brand has just launched three of its coconut-oil based cheeses into the US market for the first time.
All 451 Whole Foods stores in the US will now stock Violife’s vegan mature cheddar slices, smoked provolone slices and parmesan cheese.
Violife’s cheeses are 100% vegan and made with non-GMO coconut oil. Until yesterday, they could only be found at select independent retailers, making this new announcement all the more exciting.
Yesterday, two posts on the brand’s Instagram account alerted fans and followers to the good news. Now that the products are stocked by Whole Foods, they will be much more widely available to US customers.
The cheeses are loved for their ability to replace dairy-based cheeses in most dishes. They can be grated, melted and sliced, providing the same great textures and flavours as their dairy-based counterparts.
The official website says: ‘We absolutely love what we do here because we know that, for some, it’s really difficult to give up cheese. We know that we can reassure those people that our melty, stretchy, creamy, tangy Violife family of products will be perfect for them. No compromise on taste necessary.’
