Vegan Thai takeaway to open in Norwich this summer

A new vegan takeaway is set to stir things up when it arrives on Magdalen Street this August.

Owner Andy Davis from Norwich, said: “At Take Thai 40% of our customers are vegetarian, pescatarian or vegan – it became apparent there was a demand for this kind of food.

“Although I’m not vegan myself, my aim has always been to provide fresh, healthy, honest food. Vegan Wok will be one of the first, possibly the only dedicated takeaway of its kind in the UK – there will be traditional Chinese, Thai, Vietnamese, Japanese and Indonesian Dishes on the menu.”

All the food at the new eatery will be cooked from scratch by Thai and Vietnamese chefs and Mr Davis insists “you don’t need to be vegan to enjoy these dishes”.

Vegan Wok will open mid-august at 131 Magdalen Street.
