For vegans, finding a dedicated vegan takeaway can be difficult, but that is all about to change as a brand new vegan takeaway is set to open in Glasgow this month.

The takeaway, Tomillo, which will be located in Speirs Wharf, will provide vegans with a fast-food option which can be both delivered and collected. Options will include dishes like their Smokey Green Lentil and Bean Cassoulet and vegan pho.

The restaurant will also have a hand-selected range of vegan wines, beers, spirits and soft drinks to enjoy with your meal.

Quality dishes

This is the latest project to come from the team behind Glasgow’s VeGin events, looking to bring their freshly made vegan delights straight to your doorstep.

Speaking to the Evening Times, a spokesperson for Tomillo said: “This is the next step in making it easy to go green with a range of high end, quality dishes, prepared entirely from scratch in house by our highly skilled and passionate team.

“We feel it is important to not have to compromise taste or substance, whether you are a fully fledged vegan, attempting Veganuary, making a diet change for health reasons or just looking to try something a bit different, we hope you will fall in love with our food just like we have.

Delivery

Tomillo will be available for collection and home delivery via Uber Eats to city centre and west end locations in the next few weeks.
