A new vegan startup, PEP Kitchen, has launched a range of seven delicious frozen plant-based ready meals.

PEP Kitchen started life as a pop-up at Venn Street Market, Clapham, in December 2019, trialling their dishes to find out which flavours customers enjoyed the most.
Now the startup, which was founded by chefs Joe Coulter and Ben MacAndrews, has launched its vegan ready meals for delivery across the UK to keep the nation’s freezers stocked with street food inspired vegan meals.
The company aims to inspire people to eat more plant-based food with dishes inspired by the pair’s favourite street food experiences, using unique and bold flavour combinations.

The range includes a selection of seven vegan ready meals to choose from including; ‘Gunpowder Roasted Roots with Coconut Dhal’, ‘Szechuan Mapo Tofu’ and ‘Jackfruit Massaman Curry’.

At £5.75 each, all dishes are perfect portions for one, created to be super bold, tasty and equally nutritious with each meal largely coming in ar under 400 calories. They’re also gluten-free, high in fibre and good sources of protein.
They are available to purchase from the PEP Kitchen website, and are delivered across the UK via a carbon-neutral delivery service.
Keeping the environment at the core of the business, PEP Kitchen has ensured that its packaging is 100% home compostable or recyclable.
PEP use award-winning Huhtamaki Fresh containers and recycled denim as insulated liners in their delivery boxes to keep the meals cool on their way to customers homes.
