Research by Mintel suggests that over half of parents (51%) would like to see more dairy-free options for children.
Little Bandits founder, Jess Harris, wanted to create free-from options for children following the struggle to find suitable options for her son who has multiple allergies. She was determined that his diet should not mean he missed out on fun, convenient treats.

Little Bandits yoghurts are always dairy and soy free, as well as being free from the top 14 allergens. They are low in sugar, having 50% less sugar than dairy alternatives, contain no additives or preservatives and are fortified with essential nutrients such as calcium, vitamins D & B12 and iodine, providing convenient and healthy snacks for all children.
The new range of low sugar, deliciously fruity coconut-based yoghurts are available in strawberry and banana flavours at over 150 Asda stores for £1.65 for a pack of two.
Jess Harris, Founder of Little Bandits, comments: “I became determined that my son Jonah shouldn’t miss out on fun, healthy and delicious treats and realised there are thousands of parents facing the same challenge. Our vision at Little Bandits is to become the leading free-from brand for kids and to make life a little easier for families, whether they need dairy alternatives, are vegan or just want to reduce their dairy intake.”
Jessica Dunn, Free From Buyer at Asda, comments: “We’ve been on a mission to expand our free-from offering for kids in-store, and are very proud to be partnering with Little Bandits to give children with special dietary requirements the opportunity to enjoy delicious, convenient and colourful snacks. We found Jessica’s story truly inspiring and we’re extremely happy to help make their vision become a reality and help other families across the UK.’’
