‘Consumer demand’

In a statement sent to Vegan Food & Living, HAPPIEE! said: “Versatility is key, and all our products are quick and easy to cook, absorb flavours well, and work well with pan or air frying.

“The breaded options, with their light golden crumb, bring a crispy snacking experience that’s perfect for dipping and impressing at family feasts and parties.”

The brand added that it aims to create a ‘family-friendly option’ in response to ‘growing consumer demand for flexitarian diets’ as well as environmental concerns and shellfish allergies.
