Multi-award-winning vegan pizzeria Purezza is getting set to open its new location in Hove this summer
Hove will welcome its first 100% vegan restaurant this summer as popular Brighton eatery Purezza gets set to open its first location in the seaside resort.
As if that wasn’t enough, Purezza boasts its own vegan cheese factory where they make their own dairy and palm-oil-free mozzarella using all-natural ingredients and have written and released a recipe book worldwide.
The new Hove branch is set to open in August on the site of the now-closed Patisserie Valerie near Palmeira Square and will be spread across two floors with plenty of seating available as well as operating delivery services for the Hove and Portslade community.
The stylish eater will keep sustainability at its heart and is fitted out with reclaimed and upcycled furniture, and decorated with eco-friendly and organic paints.
As well as serving up a tasty array of its plant-based pizzas, which are available on multiple different bases with gluten-free options, the restaurant will offer a range of unique cocktails, tempting starters, and a full gluten-free menu.
Those looking to indulge in some tasty vegan food with a healthy twist can enjoy Purezza’s famous raw vegan menu which features raw tiramisu and a full raw pizza using a base made with seeds and nuts.
In a statement sent to Vegan Food & Living, Tim Barclay, co-founder and co-owner of Purezza said: “2020 was always set to be a big year
for Purezza, and whilst the Coronavirus crisis was an unforeseen challenge, it won’t affect our plans.
“Purezza is a growing brand, but our home has always been Brighton & Hove. Before looking at national expansion, we’re proud to be able to give some of our most dedicated customers a brand new beautiful space in Hove to enjoy.”
Purezza Hove will open its doors to the public in late August 2020.
