Popular London pizzeria Picky Wops made the compassionate choice in 2017 to completely ditch dairy from the menu and go 100% vegan after owner Cristiano decided to go vegan after his eyes were opened to the realities of the meat and dairy industries.

Now the vegan pizzeria, which has been a regular feature at street markets across the capital, and also recently took over the kitchen of a Brixton pub, is proud to open its first solo location on London’s Brick Lane.

Picky Wops creates a wide range of authentic Italian dishes with a vegan twist as owners Cristiano and Adrea are both Italian immigrants who use high-quality, plant-based ingredients to create truly authentic and ethical Italian food.

Famous for their unique doughs, which are fully customisable with varying colours, textures and flavours including burnt wheat and turmeric, Picky Wops offers customers a wide range of toppings and vegan cheese to top their pizzas with.

If pizza isn’t your thing, the Picky Wops team also have tasty pasta dishes such as carbonara with meat-free bacon bits, garlic bread, dough balls and loaded fries topped with Italian-inspired sauces such as pesto and bolognese.

Picky Wops is now open at 53 Brick Lane, London, E1 6PU.
