From burgers and brownies to Prosecco and pastries, there are all sorts of treats on offer at Gloucester’s latest food market. But there is one big difference. Not a single product on sale will involve animal products – welcome to Gloucester’s first ever Vegan Fair.

A vegan market is coming to Gloucester

This weekend, a vegan food market is hitting the streets of Gloucester, with plenty of delicious grub on offer. The event takes place on Sunday at Blackfriars and boasts a whole host of different stalls.

Organiser Naomi Jane said: “After travelling to the Cheltenham Vegan Fayre two years in a row and having a fantastic time, I decided it would be great if we could hold a similar event in Gloucester. Gloucester has a large vegan following but never has big vegan events, so after putting the idea out there amongst fellow, local vegans, the Gloucester Vegan Xmas Market was born.

“Myself and a team of volunteers have been working to bring Gloucester an amazing Vegan event at the stunning Blackfriars Priory with all proceeds going to The Dean Farm Trust.”

There will be over 50 stalls with cruelty free beauty products, perfume, clothing and accessories and a huge variety of cuisine such as Indian curry, Caribbean jerk soya, burgers, hot dogs, Thai curry, falafels, cheese and sweet treats such as fudge, raw chocolate, hot chocolate, cakes, pick n mix sweets and drinks ranging from healthy juices and kombucha to mulled wine and Prosecco.

The event runs between 11am and 4pm on Sunday 3rd December at Blackfriars.
