The UK’s first ever 14 allergen free ice-cream from Yorica! is set to land in retailers this month.

In a world first, popular London ice-cream parlour Yorica! is launching its 14 allergen-free ice-creams, as recognised by the World Health Organisation, in retailers for the first time.

The idea behind Yorica! is beautifully simple: all recipes and ingredients are completely gluten, dairy, egg, nut and peanut free, accredited by The Vegan Society and without an animal product in sight.

The first flavours to launch exclusively in Ocado are Double Chocolate Cookie and Salted Caramel.

Double Chocolate Cookie is described as a delicious, rich, cocoa chocolate ice-cream alternative with chunks of dark chocolate. Salted Caramel is an indulgent salted caramel ice-cream alternative with a luxurious and rich texture.

Simon Foster, Group Managing Director at Yorica!, comments:

“We are so excited to see Yorica! launching into a national retailer. Our store on Wardour Street has made a name for itself amongst the free-from community and we’re now looking forward to it being everywhere in the country. We are passionate about helping everyone enjoy ice-cream, without worrying about allergies, intolerences or dietry requirements and without any compromise in taste and texture. We pride ourselves on the fact that all our ice cream is not only 14 allergen free, but tastes delicious too!.”

Yorica’s dairy-free ice-creams will launch in Ocado in late September 2018.
