We’re delighted to say that Vegan Food & Living magazine has been nominated for not one, not two, but three prestigious industry awards.
Since launching as a monthly magazine in July 2016, Vegan Food & Living has had a meteoric first year. From overtaking its competitors to become the best-selling vegan magazine in the UK to reaching over 2 million people a month on Facebook alone, the title has now achieved mainstream recognition by being shortlisted for three awards at the PPA’s 2017 Independent Publisher Awards. The PPA Independent Publisher Awards are the ultimate accolade for publishers with a turnover of under £10 million, celebrating the dynamic contribution made to the industry and the entrepreneurial spirit of the independent publisher.
Vegan Food & Living is the only vegan or vegetarian magazine to be shortlisted at the awards, and is up for Consumer Magazine of The Year, Media Brand of the Year and Subscription Magazine of The Year. In the Consumer Magazine Of The Year category it has been shortlisted alongside market leading, established titles such as Slimming World and cycling magazine Rouleur, which just shows how far the magazine has come in such a short space of time.
Publisher Sally Fitzgerald commented, “Right from the outset we’ve worked hard with the vegan community to make Vegan Food & Living a magazine that works to advance the movement and to be a title everyone can be proud of. Being shortlisted for three top awards is testament to the hard work and creativity of the team, but just as much to the support and collaboration of the whole vegan family.”
The winners will be announced at the PPA Independent Publisher Awards on 28th November 2017.
