The vegan cream liqueur drinks come in three different flavours – pineapple cream, strawberry cream, and cafe latte cream - each boasting a different spirit base

A new range of luxury vegan cream liqueur drinks is launching this week across the UK.

The LUSTRE line of vegan alcoholic drinks will be available in bars, pubs, and late night venues across the country, as well as online.

Featuring three flavours – pineapple cream, strawberry cream and caffe latte cream – the product was taste tested during development.

According to the brand, a significant 85 per cent of consumers prefer the taste of the plant-based range to its dairy offering.

And using a vegan base means the vegan cream liqueur line has a reduced environmental impact over dairy products, the creators say.

According to the brand, its three flavours ‘each champion luxury, indulgence, and sustainability, but with a different base spirit’.

The pineapple cream with rum combines notes of pineapple and coconut, with the body of rum.

Meanwhile, its strawberry cream with tequila contains ‘strawberry paired with classic cream, and underpinned by the earthy warmth of high-quality tequila’.

Finally, caffe latte cream with vodka combines creamy coffee notes with vodka, to create a ‘silky smooth and sophisticated liquid’.

In a statement sent to Vegan Food & Living, Charlie Leaver, Head of Brand said: “Post-pandemic, we have seen demand for lower ABV shots shoot up as an affordable and fun way to celebrate with friends.

“LUSTRE provides an opportunity to share a little luxury with friends in the form of a delicious creamy shot, that being plant based is truly inclusive.

“We’re excited for LUSTRE to add its sheen to nights out in the UK.”

The LUSTRE range is available from selected pubs and bars now, and directly from Good Time In for £16.50 inc. VAT per 70cl bottle.
