UK: Aldi releases vegan Thai curry kit

Aldi UK has announced that it is releasing its very own vegan Thai curry kit that allows customers to make curries with fresh ingredients with ease at home.

Aldi UK have created their own (bargain) version of the famous Blue Dragon and Thai Taste curry kits – but they cost half the price.

The new vegan curry kits, which come in two flavours, Thai Red and Thai Green curry, are entirely gluten free and vegan-friendly, and are made using real ingredients such as fresh chillies, onion and lemongrass.

Affordable

While Aldi’s curry kits will cost from £1.39, its big brand name rivals – Blue Dragon and Thai Taste – currently retail at £2.75 and £2.55 respectively at the likes of Waitrose and Sainsburys.

That means Aldi’s own version comes out as 49% cheaper than Blue Dragon and 45% cheaper than Thai Taste Curry Kits make them a more affordable option for customers.
