A stellar line-up of vegan comedians, including TV comedian Kiri Pritchard-McLean, is coming to Leicester this June to the world’s only vegan-specific comedy club to promote and celebrate veganism in a lighthearted way.

Matt Hoss, a 24-year-old stand-up comedian from North Yorkshire, is bringing an innovative vegan comedy club to Leicester for the world’s only vegan-specific comedy night.

This stand-up comedy show is identical to a regular professional comedy night, but with a significant twist: all the comedians are vegan. These professional jokers are all coming to entertain whilst passively promote and normalise the ideals of veganism, but the emphasis is on the jokes. The routines are the same as a normal set, but it offers a safe recluse for vegans. The audience will ‘leaf’ with a smile on their face and will want to come back for herbi-more!

There will be delicious vegan food available from The Criterion and local vegan caterers, to create a community sensation and to promote local business. There’s even vegan snacks available for the interval!

Matt is keen to stress that the show is for everyone, all are welcome – not just vegans! In fact, the event could be a great way to show friends and family that vegans can definitely still have a sense of humour, despite misconceptions!

Kiri is also best known for co-hosting her podcast All Killa, No Filla with Rachel Fairburn which is internationally renowned.
