Nonna Said has launched a fully vegan menu featuring homemade meat alternatives and ‘incredible’ plant-based cheese…
Glasgow-based pizzeria and cocktail bar Nonna Said is replicating its entire menu with a vegan version.
The acclaimed eatery’s move comes after it successfully created its own plant-based pepperoni and other meat alternatives.
It also offers a fully vegan cocktail list and can modify most pizzas for low-gluten diets.
Vegan menu
Nonna Said is keen to ensure that no one misses out on the full dining experience, and so its full menu is now available with and without meat and dairy.
They’ve even created their own homemade vegan pepperoni to give customers a meat-free alternative to top their pizzas with.
Customers can opt for favourites such as Salt and Chilli Chicken pizza and Happy Highlander pizza – which features vegan haggis and potato smiley faces.
Prices start at £8.50 for pizzas, with a £2 additional charge for homemade gluten-free bases.

‘Best vegan pizza in the country’
In a statement sent to VeganFood & Living, Nonna Said’s GM Adam Stevenson said: “We did a lot of research into how we could recreate our original offering and have managed to source an incredible vegan pizza cheese which is a real game changer as well as creating a number of homemade meat alternatives.
“The homemade pepperoni our chefs have made really has to be tasted to be believed and we’re confident that this is the best vegan pizza in the country.
“As well as creating vegan versions of pizzas, we’ve added new vegan street food and loaded fries, loaded nachos and loaded hash browns to our menu.”
