The UK’s first cannabis restaurant is opening in Brighton next month giving diners the chance to try a range of vegan and vegetarian dishes that have been infused with CBD.
In a first for the UK, a brand new restaurant is set to open in Brighton this December that will be serving up a vegan and vegetarian menu with a twist – all the dishes will be infused with CBD, CBG and CBN, as well as naturally occurring flavours and fragrances from the plant.
The Canna Kitchen will be serving up a mouth-watering range of dishes that will have customers feeling happy and relaxed. The restaurant menu boasts dishes such as za’atar roast cauliflower with hemp heart tabbouleh, smoked aubergine, sesame cavolo nero and CBD tahini Cream as well as buckwheat and beetroot pancakes with roast roots, rocket and CBD cashew cheese.
Not only is The Canna Kitchen opening a restaurant, it will also be operating a CBD Café and dispensary upstairs with infused cakes, drinks and beverages.
The team behind the restaurant are keen to “change the way people think about the cannabis plant” by creating a menu full of dishes which are “tastefully complimented with its infusion”.
If you’re wondering whether the restaurant is legal you’ll be pleased to hear that the compounds used in the dishes are non-psychoactive and are commonly used for medicinal purposes, while trace elements of THC, (the psychoactive compound found in cannabis), are kept within legal limits.
According to The Canna Kitchen: “Cannabis is a highly nutritious, versatile and powerful herb; it is packed full of flavour, fragrance and natural therapeutic benefit.
“We at The Canna Kitchen aim to redress dated stereotypes mislabeling this extraordinary natural resource purely as a recreational substance.”
The Canna Kitchen will open on December 1st at 14 Duke Street in Brighton.
