Joining the ever-growing range of delicious meat alternatives, The Fry Family Food Co. has announced they are adding two brand new lines for 2020.

Two pizzas will also be joining the Fry Family, the Smoky BBQ Woodfired Pizza is topped with red and yellow peppers, red onions, and Fry’s famous chicken-style strips marinated in smoky BBQ sauce.

The Mediterranean Woodfired Pizza is sprinkled with sliced cherry tomatoes, baby spinach, black olives and Fry’s chicken-style strips.

The brand is also releasing fishless fillets made with succulent fish-style plant protein coated in a crispy tempura batter with added flaxseed oil.

Both products are launching in 2020 and will be available to purchase exclusively from Tesco.

In a statement sent to Vegan Food & Living, Tamy Fry, International Marketing Director at The Fry Family Food Co, said: “We’re always developing our product range, taking on board feedback from customers. Fry’s fans asked, and we listened. Plant-based pizzas have been one of our most requested new products so we’re excited to be able to announce they’re coming to stores this year!

“Crispy prawn-style pieces are also some of our bestselling products, and we think our fishless fillets will be the perfect addition to our plant-based portfolio! There is no reason why people who enjoy the taste of meat and fish can’t still do so, without the environmental and ethical impact. That’s our philosophy!
