The Botanist bar and restaurant chain has launched a brand new autumn menu filled with vegan dishes.
The Botanist bar and restaurant chain has launched its autumn menu for 2019 with dishes “inspired by the flavours of home and the cosiness of autumn.”
Alongside a host of botanical-based cocktails, customers can choose from a range of tasty vegan dishes including starters, mains and a comforting dessert.
To start, choose from the new cauliflower wings (£4.95) marinated in Frank’s® hot sauce or the garlic mushrooms (£5.50) served with toast. For those that want something simple, you can also nibble on houmous and crudités (£5.50).
Mains include a warming jackfruit curry with coconut rice (£9.95) and the Botanist bowl which features roasted veg, spiced chickpeas, quinoa and avocado (£11.50).
Perfect for chilly days, The Botanist has also added a mushroom and squash pie (£10.95) to the menu which is served with champ mash, mushy peas and gravy.
The restaurant has also veganised its popular hanging kebab dish with a new addition to the menu that comes with Tofurky® sausage with maple barbecue sauce for dipping (£11.95) and a side of the restaurant’s ‘properly seasoned chips’.
For those who enjoy a juicy burger with a drink, try the Moving Mountains® burger with pulled barbecue jackfruit (£10.95) which comes with a side of chips. You can also choose from a wide range of sides including red cabbage coleslaw, corn on the cob and a selection of different types of fries.
Leave room for dessert because there’s a new option on the menu, and apple and cherry crumble with vanilla ice cream (£5.95).
Taking to Twitter to share the news, the company wrote: “Our brand new menu is out across all venues from 12pm … we’ve got home comforts, hearty dishes, pies for all and we cannot wait to share it with you!”
