Tea brand PG Tips launches blend of tea designed for use with plant milks

Tea brand PG Tips have launched a blend of tea, ‘Perfect With Dairy Free’, specifically designed for us with plant-based milk, which will retail at £2.60/70 bags. The company are the first major tea manufacturer to offer this option.

The Unilever-owned company specifically formulated the tea to be blended with dairy-free alternatives to meet the growing customer demand for plant-based alternatives.

A PG Tips spokesperson said:

“When the PG tips team spoke to tea drinkers and heard that they weren’t able to get their hands on a tasty cuppa if they drink dairy alternatives, the PG tips master tea blender, Joyce, got hard to work. She tasted teas from over 20 origins in hundreds of different combinations. The result: a new truly tasty tea.”

The ‘Perfect With Dairy Free’ blend will launch in the UK on March 5.
