T.U.K Footwear launch new range of vegan shoes

T.U.K Footwear have released a stylish new range of vegan-friendly footwear made from a new and improved vegan material called TUKskin that is softer than the company’s previous cruelty-free offerings.

The new shoe line features the company’s signature “creeper” in pointed and round-toe styles, along with boots, sneakers, and Mary-Janes that will be available to the public this month.

TUKSkin

While T.U.K. has been making vegan shoes for decades, the new collection incorporates a newly developed material that offers all of the functionality of traditional leather without the use of any animal based components. TUKskin’s softness provides flexibility and breathability for all day comfort. The material can be easily cleaned with mild soap and water, polished with traditional shoe creams or made water resistant with the application of appropriate waxes.

“We have heard the voice of our customers for many years and done our best to provide vegan alternatives to traditional shoemaking materials,” T.U.K founder Ian White said. “With the development and adoption of TUKskin, we are very happy to now be able to achieve that goal, and our plan for 2018 is to vastly increase that offering.”
