Swizzels are best known as the inventors of Love Hearts, Drumstick, Parma Violets and many other sweets which have all been enjoyed for generations around the world.

In 2019, the company announced that it would be relaunching its famous chew bars to make them suitable for vegans by removing ingredients such as gelatine from its recipes.

Now the British sweet manufacturer has launched a new vegan-friendly chew bar range, Great British Puds (rrp £1.29 per bag), inspired by the flavours of classic British desserts.

Great British Puds flavours include indulgent Sticky Toffee Pudding, tangy Lemon Meringue, fruity Rhubarb Crumble, and zingy Apple Pie & Custard.

Swizzels has launched the product after avid sweet fan Tracy-Jane from Derbyshire invented the ideas and developed it with the Swizzels team at their company HQ.

Great British Puds are now available in selected Morrisons, B&M, ASDA, Spar, Premier and Best-one stores nationwide in-store and online, with other stockists to follow soon.
