Iconic sandwich shop Subway has launched its first vegan P.I.B (Plants.In.Blanket) sub in the UK.
The stores first vegan festive launch is available as a 6-inch sub, Footlong, salad, or wrap.
While the P.I.B sub is set to be a Christmas favourite, the vegan festive sub will only be available at selected stores across the West Midlands.
Moreover, the P.I.B sub is now available for a limited time.
Subway vegan P.I.B sub
Following the success of the original ‘pigs in blankets’ sub, the sandwich chain is trialling a veganised version.
Subway’s vegan Christmas sub is packed with delicious, ‘meaty’ flavours from the tasty plant-based sausage wrapped in smoky vegan bacon with a sweet maple glaze.
Additionally, the P.I.B sub is served with Heinz Tomato Ketchup and is finished with salad and toppings of your choice.
Furthermore, you can find the new vegan festive sub in Subway stores across the West Midlands, including Birmingham, Coventry, and Wolverhampton.

Plant-based at Subway
Subway is renowned for its quick, easy and tasty bites that are perfect for on-the-go lunches.
While the sandwich brand favours meat products, Subway is growing its plant-based options.
In January 2020, the chain launched its highly anticipated Meatless Meatball Marinara to celebrate Veganuary.
In addition, Subway launched its first vegan chicken sub alongside its Vegan Double Choc Cookie, Plant Patty, and plant-based garlic aioli.
We hope to see more plant-based options this Veganuary from the legendary sandwich store.
