This year, vegans in the UK are in for an extra special treat as the coffee shop giant is launching a new autumnal cookie that’s the perfect partner to its Pumpkin Spice Latte – a Vegan Pumpkin Spice Cookie.
Flavoured with the same warming spice blend as the chain’s popular seasonal latte with notes of nutmeg, cloves and cinnamon, the cookie has 340 calories and will be priced £1.75.
The news was shared by Instagram account Accidentally Vegan UK who said that the cookie would be coming to Starbucks UK stores next week with other reports suggesting it would be available as early as this Thursday (October 1).
Vegan whipped cream
For the first time ever, Starbucks is offering vegan whipped cream to top of their Pumpkin Spice Latte with so they can enjoy the drink in full vegan style.
To order the drink vegan, customers can pick a dairy alternative of their choice and pair it with the new soya-based Vegan Whipped Topping which has been designed so that dairy-free customers can recreate the experience of whipped cream.
The Vegan Whipped Topping has been created by Alpro and has an indulgent, silky texture and light hints of vanilla.
Prices for the PSL start from £3.30, with the same price applying to the Vegan Pumpkin Spice Latte when ordered with soya. If you’d like to order it with whipped cream then you’ll be pleased to hear the Vegan Whipped Topping is free when customers order a Vegan PSL or a Vegan Pumpkin Spice Frappuccino Blended Beverage.
