Starbucks has added a brand new vegan breakfast option to the menu in the USA, ‘The Overnight Grains’, which is a protein-packed take on overnight oats. The new breakfast pot is certified vegan, and is packed with a nutritious blend of wholesome ingredients.

The layered breakfast pot is made by “cooking” quinoa, chia seeds, and steel-cut oats in coconut milk. It’s served with a layer of pineapple and mango at the bottom, along with almond slices and toasted coconut to add a crunchy texture. The delicious option is ideal for breakfast, with 360 calories per serving and six grams of protein.

The breakfast pot was originally trialled in a select number of stores in 2017.

The new vegan breakfast option is currently on offer at around 600 New York Starbucks locations. If it proves popular, the chain is planning to roll it out in stores across the USA.
