Squeaky Bean is adding a new product to its popular range of plant-based deli meats.
Its latest offering, Squeaky Bean Crumbed Ham Style Slices, have launched in Tesco stores across the UK, with an RRP £2.25.
And according to the brand, its new product is ‘so good you’ll want to eat it straight from the pack’.
The vegan crumbed ham has landed on shelves amid polling by Hovis which discovered that ham and cheese is the most popular sandwich filling of all time.
Squeaky Bean recommends stuffing a sub with its new ham slices, along with vegan cheese, lettuce, tomato and lashings of vegan mayo, for a tasty sandwich.
Alternatively, it suggests adding the vegan meat slices to a salad with pine nuts and beans.

Squeaky Bean makes its plant-based meat alternatives with wheat and pea protein. The new slices have an additional breadcrumb coating.
According to the brand, its new slices are high in plant-based protein (with 23g per 100g) and low in saturated fat (with 0.9g per 100g).
A whole pack of the deli meat contains 155 calories, which it says makes a packet ‘a perfect post-work out snack’.
The product joins Squeaky Bean’s growing list of plant-based deli meat alternatives.
Among its range are Applewood Ham, NYC Deli Pastrami, Milano Salami and Spanish Chorizo.
Its other options include Tortillas, Chicken Style Pieces, and a new eight pack of snackable Sausage Rolls; all ready to eat.
Squeaky Bean also offers frozen products including Breaded Dippers, Hot & Spicy Poppers, and Breaded Nuggets.
