Portsmouth’s iconic Spinnaker Tower has launched a new vegan afternoon tea.
The Clouds Café, on view deck 2 of the tower, is a whopping 105 metres above the city and offers an impressive 23-mile view of the British Isles.
Spinnaker Tower’s vegan afternoon tea
Available daily from 12pm-4pm, the high tea* menu features sandwich flavours including Quorn ham, roasted red pepper and hummus, sliced applewood ‘cheese’, and ‘cream cheese’ and cucumber.
Up next, it’s dairy-free scones with jam and a wide range of vegan sweet treats including red velvet cake, fruity flapjack, mocha loaf, Honeybuns brownie and an oat raspberry bar.

In a statement sent to Vegan Food & Living, General Manager at Spinnaker Tower Tony Sammut said: “Our talented chefs from The Clouds Café have created a delicious selection of dishes to be enjoyed 105 metres above the city!
“Along with our classic menu, these new options offer choice to everyone, including vegans and vegetarians, and people who just want to enjoy more plant-based food.”

Vegan brunch options
Spinnaker Tower also offers a vegan brunch High Tea featuring mini bacon rolls, sausage rolls, blueberry croissants, flapjack, berry fruit pot and smoothies.
Brunch High Tea is available at The Clouds Cafe from Friday – Sunday at 10am and on special holidays.
*High tea and entry to the Tower costs £35 per person.
