Following the success of its very first vegan fair, Somerset’s first regular vegan market is coming to Frome.
A major new event will be taking place at Frome’s Cheese and Grain café as the town welcomes its first ever regular vegan fair.
From food and drink through to clothing, cosmetics, accessories and gifts, this market gives vegans in Somerset an opportunity to stock up their cupboards with vegan products, as well as the chance to treat themselves or loved ones to something special!
There will also be talks, workshops, activities for kids and nutritional advice and support.
Co-organiser Jo Harrington said, “We’re thrilled that we are able to host the market with the Cheese and Grain. The vegan fair was a huge success and it’s clear that there’s a demand for a regular event.
“Our events attract not only vegans, but they also attract those who may just like to buy plant-based food, drink, clothes or cruelty-free cosmetics.”
Cheese and Grain deputy director, Tracey Rawlins said, “We had a very positive response to the Frome Vegan Fair and we’re pleased to be able to work with Frome Vegan Fair to run a monthly market from the Cheese and Grain.”
Entry to the market is free. For updates online visit: @fromeveganfair and @cheeseandgrain on Twitter. The Cheese and Grain café will also be providing vegan specials during the monthly market.
Frome vegan market will open its doors on the first Saturday of the month, with the first market taking place on Saturday 7th April at 9am.
