Snoop Dogg is helping Beyond Meat donate 1 million vegan burgers to hospital workers on the frontlines of the coronavirus pandemic in the US.
Rap legend Snoop Dogg has joined forces with plant-based meat-alternative brand Beyond Meat to help them in the quest to donate vegan burgers to frontline workers as part of the company’s Feed A Million+ campaign.
Sharing the news on Instagram, Snoop wrote: “Beyond Meat has made a pledge to donate over one million Beyond Burgers to those in need during these challenging times I’m proud to be a part of it.
Doing his bit to ensure that those in need can enjoy a delicious vegan burger, Snoop donated burgers to Martin Luther King Jr. Community Hospital in Southern Los Angeles.
The musician is not the only celebrity to join the campaign as actor and comedian Kevin Hart also recently sent Beyond Burgers to frontline staff working at Northridge Hospital Medical Center in California.
In a video on Instagram, Hart said: “I want to give a shout-out to my partners in crime over there at Beyond Meat. You guys are unbelievable, feeding over a million people right now through these crazy times is a must. I love the fact that you’ve stepped up and I want to do my part as your partner, I want to step-up as well.”
