Sainsbury's has some delicious vegan options in its vegan Valentine's Dinner for Two for just £20 including a starter, main, side, dessert and bottle of wine.

This Valentine’s day will be very different, as the UK remains in lockdown over the national holiday of love. Nevertheless, Sainsbury’s won’t let vegans miss out on a romantic meal with its new £20 Valentine’s Dinner for Two. The generous deal includes a starter, main, side, dessert and bottle of fizz for you to share with your loved one this February.

For starters, treat yourself to Sainsbury’s Love Your Veg! Butternut Squash Stacks featuring butternut squash, carrot and plantain stacks topped with Greek-style coconut-based alternative to cheese and breadcrumbs.

As an indulgent meatless main, try the Plant Pioneers Vegan Steaks, made from mushroom and wheat gluten and seasoned with cracked black pepper.

Don’t fancy mock meat? Try the Taste the Difference Nut Roast with Cranberry Glaze instead for a plant-powered meal.

Tuck into a meat-free steak and finish off your meal with a tempting cheesecake this Valentine's Day

For sides, choose from Sainsbury’s Taste the Difference Triple Cooked Chips with a fluffy inside and crispy coating, or McCain Shake Shake Fries to complement your meat-free steaks or nut roast.

And who could forget dessert? Indulge in the GU Free From Salted Caramel Cheesecakes featuring a vegan biscuit base, topped with a caramel layer and a coconut and caramel cream. Alternatively, sink your teeth into a punnet of Taste the Difference Strawberries. For extra romance, dip them in some dark chocolate!

For an alcoholic treat, choose from the blush coloured Modelli Rosato, the full-bodied Laughing Llama Merlot, or the delightfully fizzy Edizione 789 Di Mondelli Prosecco.
