Sainsbury’s has got us hopping for joy as it releases a bright pink dairy-free white chocolate and strawberry egg in time for Easter.
We’ve said it before and we’ll say it again – vegans are positively spoilt for choice this Easter with all the delicious new vegan-friendly chocolate eggs hitting shelves this year.
Leading UK supermarket Sainsbury’s is keen to give vegans even more choice with the release of a bright pink dairy-free white chocolate and strawberry Easter egg into it’s Free From range.
The egg, which is priced at £3.50, is a tasty an alternative to white chocolate and is made with real strawberry to give the egg it’s eye-catching colour. Not only is the egg dairy-free, but it’s also gluten-free too.
Sainsbury’s describes the vibrant pink chocolate eggs as: “Flecked and flavoured with delicious strawberry pieces, this vegan egg has moreish milkshake flavoured taste.”
The egg makes a welcome change for those who don’t enjoy dark chocolate as previously options for vegans at Easter have largely been limited to dark-chocolate eggs.
