Animal advocate, comedian and actor Ricky Gervais has joined dozens of other celebrities and experts by adding his voice to Viva!'s campaign to end factory farming

Viva!’s letter to Prime Minister Boris Johnson has already been signed by thousands, including celebrities Heather Mills, Jerome Flynn and Peter Egan, experts such as Dr Neal Barnard and Dr Shireen Kassam, and other animal rights organisations including Veganuary, The Humane League, and Animal Aid.

The letter calls on the UK government to:

  • Support and encourage plant-based food initiatives to transition our food system and eradicate our reliance on unsustainable animal agriculture.
  • End factory farming by addressing the unequivocal links between the intensification of animal agriculture, global pandemics and the climate emergency.

It’s not too late to get involved, Viva! still need your support!
