Irish sausage brand Richmond is launching vegan versions of meatballs and mince to accompany its meat-free sausages and burgers.

After the roaring success of Richmond’s meat-free sausages that taste just like the real thing, the Irish meat producer is launching two new vegan products into the range.

The new Richmond meatballs and mince are available now at Asda and will roll out on the 21st of April at Sainsbury’s.

Richmond has been teasing its followers about the new meatballs on Instagram over the past week, posting partial photos of a pasta dish asking people to guess the new product.

The page finally revealed on Friday: “Launching next week in a family-sized pack of 16, with the succulent texture and great taste you expect from delicious meatballs.

High in protein and a great source of fibre, keep a lookout for more info on where you can pick up a pack!”

The brand then also revealed its new vegan mince, perfect for a meat-free spaghetti bolognese or veggie chilli.

Richmond’s Meat-Free Sausages have won awards from PETA, The Grocer and Product of the Year for their succulent taste and innovative production.

Therefore, we’re sure the new meatballs and mince will be equally delicious!

Richmond also launched vegan burgers into Asda and Sainsbury’s last year, made from a combination of soy and wheat protein.

The burgers were also a huge success, demonstrating that plant-based and vegan options certainly aren’t boring.

Category & Marketing Director at Kerry Foods Victoria Southern said:

“Given the roaring success of our Meat-Free Sausages, we’re really excited to be expanding our range even further to ensure we can cater to a whole variety of mealtime occasions.”

The new Richmond meatballs and mince are available now at Asda, and on the 21st April at Sainsbury’s.
