Meat giant Richmond has debuted mini vegan sausages in a major UK retailer.
Made from rehydrated textured soya and wheat protein, the meatless snacks are low in fat, sugar and salt.
The brand, owned by Pilgrim Food Masters, says the release will ‘disrupt the status quo in the meat-free snacking [market] ‘ – which has reportedly grown by 20 percent in the past two years.
Mini vegan sausages – where to buy
Richmond’s latest vegan sausages launched in Waitrose stores across the UK on April 19 at an introductory price of £1.87 per resealable pack.
They will also hit the shelves in Sainsbury’s, Tesco and Asda nationwide in due course.
