As a significant portion of the UK is still working from home, Quorn is launching two varieties of vegan chicken strips – perfect for a homemade lunch.
The new strips come in two delicious flavours: Peri-Peri seasoned with cumin, lemon and chilli, and Turkish Style Kebab with citrusy coriander and warming cumin and ginger.
Ready in just a few minutes, the strips will be ideal for a quick and easy vegan lunch for anyone partaking in Veganary. The hardest part will be deciding which flavour to try first!
Like all the brand’s products, the Quorn vegan strips are created with mycoprotein, which was recently found to be equivalent to animal protein. So what’s stopping you?
“We’re on a mission’
In a statement sent to Vegan Food and Living, Quorn’s Marketing Director Gill Riley said the new strips were “an exciting addition to [the] Quorn range.”
“Both the Peri-Peri Strips and Turkish Style Kebab are full of flavour, easy to use and vegan too.
“We’re on a mission to constantly create delicious and innovative foods for vegetarians, vegans and meat-reducers alike! Our Makes Amazing journey has only just begun and what better time to start than in Veganuary?”
