Hot on the heels of the launch of its first-ever vegan pies, the UK’s number one hot pie brand, Pukka Pies, has added another vegan pie to its plant-based range in celebration of Curry Week (7th – 13th October).
The new limited-edition Vegan Vegetable Tikka Masala pie (£1.89) is filled with a delicious blend of chickpeas, spinach and veggies in an aromatic tikka masala sauce all wrapped up in Pukka’s signature golden puff pastry, complete with an Indian-inspired design.
In a statement sent to Vegan Food & Living, Rachel Cranston, Head of Marketing at Pukka says: “Curry Week is an opportunity to tuck into one of the nation’s favourite dishes and our limited-edition curry pie offers a tasty alternative for everyone – from meat eaters to people who prefer to tuck into plant-based meals.
“Whether you’re popping your pie in naan bread for a twist on the Wigan kebab or pairing it with pilau rice and mango chutney, Curry Week has never tasted so good.”
