Poundstretcher are now selling vegan-friendly ‘Ferrero Rocher’ style hazelnut chocolates

UK discount store Poundstretcher is now selling a vegan version of the popular chocolate hazelnut treats, Ferrero Rocher.

UK discount store Poundstretcher is now selling an accidentally vegan version of the popular chocolate hazelnut treats, Ferrero Rocher.

The chocolates, called Kavici Choco Spheres, are very similar to their dairy counterparts, and consist of a soft hazelnut center rolled in chocolate nuts. They even come wrapped in a similar gold foil to the original product.

The ingredients listed for the chocolates include the following ingredients: sugar, cocoa powder, cocoa mass, cocoa butter substitute, nut, wheat flour, salt, peanuts, soya, wheat and gluten. While the products aren’t certified vegan, they’re free of any animal ingredients.

The chocolates are also free of palm oil, which many people avoid thanks to the industry’s link to massive rainforest destruction, primarily in Indonesia, which leads to massive habitat loss for wildlife.

The chocolates are available from UK discount store Poundstretcher for £1, with larger boxes priced at £2.99
