Popular meat-based burger joint teams up with Linda McCartney’s to create a mouth-watering tower of tastiness – the ‘dirtiest vegan burger in town’.
One is famed for bringing meat-free eating to the masses over 25 years ago, the other for cooking up over-the-top meat burgers in the capital. Now, Linda McCartney’s and Dirty Burger have joined forces to launch the Dirty Vegan in celebration of World Meat Free Day.
Taking place on 11th June, World Meat Free Day was launched in 2015 to raise awareness of the benefits of eating less meat; something that Linda McCartney’s has championed for a number of years.
With more Brits now embracing vegan, vegetarian and flexitarian lifestyles than ever before, Dirty Burger has decided it’s time to cast a little meat-free magic over its traditional burgers. With the help of Linda McCartney’s, head chef Brian McGowan has developed an impressive tower of tastiness for vegans, vegetarians and meat eaters alike to enjoy.
Sandwiched between a vegan brioche bun are two layers of popocini pepper relish, lettuce, burnt aubergine and one of Linda McCartney’s infamous quarter pounder burgers. Best served with fries and Dirty Burger’s brand new vegan strawberry milkshake, the Dirty Vegan will be sold for one week from 11th June, priced at £7.
Brian comments “Here at Dirty Burger, we’re really excited about the opportunity to create a great tasting option for our vegetarian and vegan customers. I’ve thoroughly enjoyed developing the Dirty Vegan burger and cannot wait to see the reaction once it launches in store”.
